Everyone’s a Suspect
Go Undercover as a Playtester. Ten years ago, Rhea Coleron was murdered.
The investigation stalled. Leads went cold. No one was ever charged.
Her uncle, game designer Duke Lear, refused to let the truth disappear.
Instead, he did something unusual.
He created a strategy game called Everyone’s a Suspect and invited four people connected to Rhea’s past to help “playtest” it.
But the playtest was never really about the game.
It was an interrogation. And now someone knows what he’s doing.
After receiving threatening voicemails from inside his own shop, Duke has turned to A Killing Affair for help. An undercover investigator must join the next focus group posing as a consultant brought in to refine the game before release.
That investigator… is you.
Your Assignment
Step into the role of an undercover playtester and help uncover the truth behind Rhea’s murder.
Inside the case file you’ll receive:
• Duke Lear’s personal research and notes on each suspect
• Audio recordings of the threatening voicemails
• Evidence gathered during the original investigation
• A working prototype of Duke’s strategy game Everyone’s a Suspect
Somewhere among the four playtesters is the person responsible for Rhea’s death.
Your job is to examine the evidence, uncover the lies, and expose the killer.
Along with the case files, you’ll receive Duke’s prototype game Everyone’s a Suspect.
The game is a replayable social deduction strategy experience where:
• The killer changes every game
• Suspects bluff, accuse, and shift suspicion
• Innocent players must expose the killer before it’s too late
Think of it as a cross between Clue and Guess Who, where the suspects can lie and the roles reshuffle every time you play.
Even after the case is solved, the game can be played again and again with a different outcome each time.
